The MIC's own Vinny Saponari is selected in the 4th round of the NHL draft by the Atlanta Thrashers, making history as the first player originally from Georgia to be drafted by an NHL team.
The Atlanta Knights continue to support the development of young hockey players with a unique and exciting Mite Travel and House league program designed to maximize ice time and challenge all players.

The Marietta Ice Center and the Atlanta Knights announce the hiring of Kevin Kerr as Director of Hockey Operations and Coach-in-Chief. A native of North Bay, Ontario, Coach Kerr’s lifetime hockey experience brings a wealth of knowledge to the families and players here at the MIC.
